This is a small article about the creation of a mural painting with the subject Thailand. The subject on itself is pretty usual and often used in restaurants and perhaps people's homes. I want to show some pictures of the progress of the creation. I Started with a base coat on the wall because if im going to paint on a new wall it will suck the paint into the wall and the color would become more bland. After that base coat is dry you can start to use the colors you want to use. Because the background has blue gradients i used 4 different colors of blue and just started to blend them together to get a good soft gradient for the wall. The first picture shows the color gradients.
So to paint the mountain i drew with a normal pencil the base lines of the mountain. After that is just used black color to paint all of the shadows and than slowly colored the rest of the wall. You can see the near finished piece in the pictures below.
